　　The population of Earth continues to increase every year, so people require. More and more land upon which to farm, build houses, and operate factories. While it would be nice to set aside land for endangered animals, it is much more important to use all available land for humans.

　　To begin with, humans need to use all of the land they can gain access to. As the planet’s population continues to grow, people need to move onto and that was previously occupied only by animals. In many countries, there are large numbers of cities with over a million people. In fact, some cities, like Tokyo, Seoul, and New York, have populations of over ten million. These cities are overcrowded; so many people need to move out of them and onto new lands. While they may be moving to lands that are inhabited by endangered animals, the welfare of humans is much more important than that of a few endangered animals, the welfare of humans is much more important than that of a few endangered animals. People have to take care of Earth’s expanding population, and the best way to enable people to live more comfortably is to move onto land inhabited by animals.

　　Also, animals have gone extinct on Earth during every period in which life has existed on the planet. It is a fact of life that some species die out while others flourish. People should not interfere with the extinction of animals but should instead allow nature to take its course. As a matter of fact, when some countries establish biological preserves for endangered animals to live on, they are interfering with nature. Man is the dominant species on this planet, so it is inevitable that some animals will go extinct because of man. Keeping endangered animals alive on these preserves is merely refusing to allow nature to let some animals live while killing off others.

　　While it is unfortunate that some endangered animals become extinct, people should. Be more concerned about taking care of humans and making sure that humans themselves survive. it is much more important to worry about human civilization than to worry about endangered animals.
