　　Task 1: It is better for people to buy clothes on line than in shopping malls.

　　I personally don’t like buying clothes online. Any time I have bought clothes online, I have been unhappy with the quality and fit of the clothes. One time I ordered a pair of pants, I used the measurement chart they provided on the website, but when the pants arrived, they were too short. It was such a hassle to try and return the pants after that. Another time I ordered a jacket. On the website it said that the jacket was made of leather, but when the jacket arrived, it was very obvious it was made of some synthetic material. In addition, I actually think shopping is fun. I enjoy going out with my friends and trying on clothes. You can also tell whether the clothes are suited for your body type.

　　Task 2: Some students prefer participating in some extracurricular activities in their first two years of college; some students prefer in their last two years. Which would you prefer?

　　I think participating in activities when you first get to college is the best plan. Joining clubs or a sports team is a great way to meet new people. Freshman and sophomore college student are also not as busy as upperclassmen, so participating in club activities is a good way to fill in the free hours. Once you get to be a junior and senior however, classes get much tougher and professors expect you to do more research. Some people will probably continue participating in extracurricular activities, but a lot of junior and senior students decide to focus more time on their studies. If you wait until your last two years of college to join any clubs, you might be too busy with schoolwork to enjoy those extracurricular activities.
