谁都不能否认文化差异对写作是有一定影响的，因此同学们在雅思写作时一定要注意思维的转化。很多同学在雅思写作的时候没有注意到东西方人的语言差异，往往分数不理想，只有转换思维才能获得考官的认可。
由于英美人的思维方式很直接，他们更习惯于从general到specific，从 summarize到exemplify，从whole到respective。如果使用中文表达，我们更讲究前因后果。
比如我们会这样表达：足球运动员必须能不停地奔跑，有时得用头顶球，撞别人或被别人撞，必须忍受双脚和肌肉的疼痛，所以说，足球运动是一项难度大的运动。而如果用英文，则会这样说：Soccer is a difficult sport.A player must be able to run steadily without rest.Sometimes a player must hit the ball with his or her head.Players must be willing to bang into and be banged into by others.They must put up with aching feet and sore muscles。
还有个例子，这是个便条，因为母亲突然生病，周末你不能和汤姆去跳舞了，你找了舞跳得很好的时黛来代替你，并表示抱歉。 用英语写，就是：

西方人的习惯是先把结果告诉你，再作解释。一般来讲，无论是单句还是段落，都是将主要意思和要传达的结果放在前。汉语则与之相反。
